The Saint-Faust stud farm, located in the South West of France, at Laroin, a few miles south of Pau, has been operated by the Larrieu Family since the beginning of the Century.

With eighty hectares of beautitul land, close to the Pyrenees Mountains, the Saint-Faust stud farm is the home of 20 throughbred broodmares with their yearlings and foals and an additional 10 Arabian broodmares followed by their progeny in huge paddocks of grass.

Our stud has been an approved centre for using chilled and frozen semen since 2009.
We can inseminate our clients' mares with semen from various arabian racing stallions from France and abroad.
With frozen semen the mares are looked at by our vétérinarian every 6 hours enabling her to monitor ovulations very closely and garantyng very good fertility results.

Operated by Gérard Larrieu and managed by his brother Jean-Paul, the Saint-Faust stud farm has aimed, over the years, to select thoroughly the broodmares, the matings and produce the best possible quality. The farm policy is to sell all colts, privately or at the sales, and keep all fillies to race. Later the best ones will join the broodmare band at Saint-Faust stud farm
